My learning Goals for Term 3

What?

I have been identifying my literacy goals for the start of term 3

My reading teacher is Mrs marsh  and Mr Forman for SML

My writing teacher is Mr rule

So What?

My handwriting goal is to flicking and sloping

My spelling goal is to complete list 6 and try list 7

My writing goal is to describe a moment in time

My reading goal is to understand what the author has written in a paragraph to help us make a sensible prediction of what will happen in the next paragraph

My blog goals are  to  add more detail to my blog posts

                            to use a variety of ways to show my learning (text, photos/images, video)

                            

Reading

I am learning about Reading response when you put the author genre and title


so what
my reading teacher is Mr rule in 5IR. my SML teacher is Mrs Marsh
and my witting teacher is Mr Forman. I go to Mr rule on Monday and Wednesday. and I go to Mrs marsh on Tuesday and Thursday and Mr Forman every day.

now what
I want to get better at going to my reading and writting class's. I want to get better at reading response.
I want to get better at sloping and flicking and linking.

What?  I have been learning to solve addition problems by first jumping by a tidy number then jumping back I have been learning to solve addition problems by using compensating from tidy numbers I have been learning to solve subtraction problems by using equal additions from a tidy number  I have been learning to solve addition and subtraction problems using the standard written form (algorithm) I have been learning to solve subtraction problems by subtraction enough to get to a tidy number, then subtracting the rest. So What? I have learned that when you have an equation like 73 - 28  = you can either add the same number to both sides, or you can subtract the same number from both sides.  I have learned that when you have an equation like 145 +  38  = if you add something to one side, you must take it away from the other side. I have learned that it is easier to make one of the numbers into a tidy number as it is easier to work out the answer. I have learned that to solve addition and subtraction problems you need to use different strategies. I have learned what a tidy number is. Now What? My next step is to use this strategy independently My next step is to use this strategy with larger numbers My next step is to use this strategy with lword stories My next step is to learn the standard written form for addition and subtraction. This is called an algorithm. Dance

WHAT?

IHBL: a hip hop routine

         a cha cha routine

         to combine different movements in to a dance routine to Treasure by Bruno Mars

         to combine different cha cha moves into a dance routine to can't stop the feeling by Justin timber lake

         

So What?

        I really enjoyed hip hop dancing

       

        I found … the robot most challenging.

        What I enjoyed most about Dean’s teaching was …

        I feel quite confident / confident / very confident with the dance routines we learned

        I was able pick up the different dance routines easily / quickly

        I found remembering the correct sequence for the dance routines difficult / challenging / easy / needed much practice

Now what?

        I would like to do further dance lessons

        I would like to learn (type of dance)

Things  I have enjoyed this term are...

passion project  because I like doing  side shows with Zoe.
About raps and the talent .

Winter sport because I got In a netball team. also I can play with my friends
like Zoe, Libby and Morgan. we have won one or two games and lost the
other games.

what:  we are learning to rap and also find music websites like drum beats and people who  can rap, for example bars & melody, hopfule


so what we are learning about bullying so the raps we are litsening to are about bullying. for example Corey from bars and melody he got bullyed at school. and his song is about all the ways he got bullyed also all his fellings.

now what  now we now more about raping and bullying.
